The Reef and Rainforest “Keep it Wild” poster competition celebrates our unique World Heritage Areas; the Wet Tropics and the Great Barrier Reef.
The “Keep it Wild” competition encourages prep to middle school students to help protect the reef and rainforest, keeping them wild for future generations. Students from the Cairns region were asked to write and illustrate a persuasive poster.
Students created eye-catching public notices or advertisements designed to change the way people feel, think and act to reduce their impact on the Earth; to help protect our reef and rainforest World Heritage Areas. 330 entries were received in 2012.
