Daintree Futures Study

A consulting team led by the Rainforest Cooperative Research Centre (Rainforest CRC) has proposed a future for the Daintree coastal region based on protecting environmental vaules while building a sustainable rainforest community on freehold land north of the Daintree River. The study was initiated by the Wet Tropics Ministerial Council which is chaired by the Queensland Minister for Environment. The final report is currently with Ministerial Council for their consideration. Visit the research section to download the Daintree Futures Study.
