WTMA Lists
The Wet Tropics Managementv Authority is required to keep a record of all permit decisions under section 81 of the Wet Tropics Management Plan 1998. This register is maintained for viewing at the Authority.
The Authority does keep a record on its permits webpage of:
- Permits issued by the Authority in the past 12 months.
- Permit applications currently being assessed by the Authority.
- Permits awaiting further information.
You can also view information about permit decisions, including permits issued and those considered to be minor and inconsequential, in each year's annual report.
Department of Environment and Resource Management
Administratively the Authority is a unit within the Queensland Government Department of Environment and Resource Management (DERM). As part of the Queensland public sector, the Authority is subject to established public sector legislation, regulations, standards and guidelines governing administrative functions and arrangements. The Director- General of the DERM is the accountable officer for the Authority under the Financial Administration and Audit Act 1997. The Authority is responsible to the Director-General regarding compliance with State Government administrative and financial standards.
