Wet Tropics Plan Review
The Authority is currently reviewing the Wet
Tropics Management Plan to amend errors and inconsistencies,
clarify ambiguities, and improve the overall operation of the Plan.
What is the review
process?
What changes are being
considered in the review?
The Authority has prepared an information
booklet which summarises the review process and the major changes
being proposed to the Plan. The booklet is the main document being
used for consultation purposes.
If you or your organisation would like to discuss
the Plan review further, you can contact:
- Max Chappell on (07)

Additional Information
The following additional information is
available to help you understand the basis for the proposed amendments
outlined in the information booklet:
How can I have my say?
The review process includes two stages of
community consultation. This means that there are two opportunities
for you to have your say on the changes proposed to the Plan before
it is finalised and approved as legislation.
The first stage of public consultation was completed in 2005. The second stage is due in 2008.
