The Wet Tropics Management Authority has now closed phase 2 submissions reviewing the Wet
Tropics Management Plan 1998. The Authority proposed a number of amendments to the Plan and is now reviewing public comments.
A brochure was prepared to assist in understanding what the proposed amendments were and how to make a submission.
Submissions closed on 27 March 2009.

The following additional information provides more detail and further explanation about proposed amendments outlined in the information booklet:
- Cross-reference guide: Provides a side-by-side comparison of all draft amendments proposed against current provisions in the Wet Tropics Management Plan
- Zoning Maps (1:250,000 only) - Comparison of proposed zoning maps to existing zoning maps.
- Changes to zoning rules
- Motor vehicle access - Detailed list of roads regarding proposed amendments to road class.
- Undesirable plants and animals - This provides the proposed amendments to Schedule 2
of the Plan which lists undesirable plants and animals.
- Infringement notices - Includes draft list of maximum penalties for proposed penalty infringement notices.
