Activity 11: Multimedia Presentation

Focus
Produce a multimedia presentation which highlights threats posed by at least one animal and one plant to the World Heritage Area with planned recommendations for addressing the threats. Links should be made to global issues where relevant.

Pedagogy/teaching strategies
Students working in small groups will select relevant information to highlight the chosen threats. Each threat should be introduced with supporting text and graphics to highlight the problem. Introduce a storyboard to help students plan the structure of the presentation. The presentation may take various forms (eg. powerpoint, movie, photo story).

Activity sequence
Each chosen threat needs to include the nature of the threat, the impact on the World heritage Area, present management practices, future management considerations.
