| Track Description |
Follow the boardwalk to the giant kauri pines and continue on along the gravel and dirt path beside the lake. You may see turtles and various birds at the lake's edge. Take the left fork up the hill after a short distance and complete the circuit back to the access road through the rainforest.
Later, you can enjoy tea and scones at the Lake Barrine Teahouse and a boat tour on the lake. The teahouse also has displays about the formation of the crater lakes, wildlife corridors, and the Wet Tropics World Heritage Area.

|
The turn off to Lake Barrine is directly off the Gillies Highway about 8 kilometres from the top of the range and 8 kilometres from Yungaburra. |
