Smooth granite rocks, cool pools and stunning
waterfalls set in eucalypt forests give a distinctive character
to this National Park camping area bordering the World Heritage
Area. One kilometre (.6 mile) from the campground is a series of
short walking tracks along the creek and overlooking the top of
the falls with spectacular views of the Tablelands. A permit is
required from DNR Atherton (4091-1844) to travel past the top of
Davies Creek Falls. For information about Davies Creek campground,
contact QPWS Cairns on 4052-3096.
