The Wet Tropics Management Authority invites you to this FREE event to find out how to identify good ants from the bad, and learn how to keep your home safe from invasive species.

- Watch a helicopter build. See the assembly of a McDermott Bell 47 helicopter ahead of its aerial baiting mission south of Cairns.
- Ants in the spotlight. Bring a suspect ant from your home (in a sealed container) for free identification and be in the running for a prize.
- Ant bingo! The first to find all the fascinating activities wins.
- Detection dog demonstration. Watch Biosecurity Queensland’s detection dogs in action and learn about the ants they find.
- BBQ sizzle running throughout the day, with facepainting and a jumping castle for fun.
- Free movie screening of A Bug’s Life on the outdoor movie screen.
