The Authority seeks representation from a broad geographic range across the Wet Tropics.
Committee members will be appointed to the end of the 2023-2026 term. The Committee will meet a minimum of two times a year with most meetings held in Cairns. Committee membership is on a voluntary basis as per Queensland Government policy, with Rainforest Aboriginal committee members are paid in accordance with the Department of the Environment, Tourism, Science and Innovation (DETSI) First Nations Payment Guide.
