Cape Kimberley clean-up 16 April 2016

Every three months Tangaroa Blue volunteers head up to beautiful Cape Kimberley in Daintree National Park for a beach clean-up event.

This long-term monitoring site is a marine debris hotspot with around 300kg of debris washing up each quarter.

Volunteers are invited to join the event on 16 April, starting at 8.30am at the Cape Kimberley carpark and finishing around 1.30pm (come for the whole event or just an hour—whatever you can spare!).

All clean-up materials are provided, and ferry passes are available for anyone driving up themselves.

Volunteers need to bring shoes, water bottle, lunch/snacks, sun protection and lots of energy.
