Cassowary Award 2012 Nominations now open!

The Wet Tropics Management Authority has long recognised that effective and successful caring of our Wet Tropics World Heritage Area is no easy or short-term task.

Responsibility for it’s protection, understanding and appreciation is something that we all must share if we are to ensure that future generations are able to enjoy and experience the wonder of this ancient landscape and the rich biodiversity it contains.

Winners of the Cassowary Awards are announced at a special ceremony, receiving an award and Certificate of Appreciation and the opportunity to share their experiences in the fields of the expertise.

Nominations close Friday 5th October.
