Submit an expression of interest (EOI) for your project
The Wet Tropics Management Authority (the Authority) is seeking EOIs for the Climate Action Grants. We want to support practical projects and initiatives that align to the Accept, Act, Adapt: Climate Adaptation Plan for the Wet Tropics 2020–2030.
About the Climate Action Grants
The Climate Action Grants have been established to support practical projects that build the evidence base for investments and interventions that improve climate resilience in the Wet Tropics bioregion.
The Authority will provide funding up to $15,000 to support:
Where beneficial, the Authority may be available to assist in co-design of the project or initiative. The Climate Action Grants may provide funding for new projects with the intention of attracting additional private and public investors or contribute additional funding to existing projects.
We are interested in hearing from citizen scientists, research organisations, Rainforest Aboriginal corporations and groups, primary and secondary schools, land holders, urban and regional community organisations, environmental non-government organisations and tourism organisations.

How to submit an expression of interest
The only method is to complete the EOI form and email it to wettropics@wtma.qld.gov.au.
In the subject header of your email, write 'Climate Action Grants' and then the name of your organisation.
The closing date for applications is Monday 16 August 2021.
