Curtis Pitt visits Yellow Crazy Ants HQ

In March State Member for Mulgrave Curtis Pitt met the Wet Tropics Management Authority board to tour its Yellow Crazy Ant Eradication Program operations base.

There, Mr Pitt met with Program team members and heard about the program’s recent successes, the result of support from the State and Federal governments.

The control of yellow crazy ant infestations in and adjacent to the Wet Tropics World Heritage Area is supported through funding from the Australian Government’s National Landcare Program and the Queensland Department of Environment and Science.
