The Rainforest Aboriginal Grants program provides Rainforest Aboriginal People, and their organisations funding to develop and implement projects that:
Rainforest Aboriginal Peoples and their organisations can apply for funding up to $10,000 to support their projects. Successful applicants have undertaken projects to improve cultural recognition and management, and on-ground partnerships in World Heritage management, support leadership, mentoring and Country-based planning.
The 2020 Rainforest Aboriginal Grants funding is now closed and a total of 23 applications were received over the two round and 10 successfully received funding for their submitted projects.
