Registrations are open for the next Wet Tropics Tour Guide field school, to be held in the Daintree rainforest.
This is a 2 to 3 day event hosted at the recently renovated Daintree Rainforest Observatory. Thursday 14 April is an optional workshop day for those wishing to start or continue the process to become a certified Wet Tropics Tour Guide, while Friday 15 and Saturday 16 April offer presentations and interpretive activities, as well as invaluable opportunities for networking.
Presentation topics include:

Connectivity in the fragmented landscape of the Wet Tropics
Tree kangaroos of the Wet Tropics
Cassowaries and the age of discovery
Northern bettong—the forgotten Wet Tropics kangaroo
