Wet Tropics staff attended the official unveiling of an interpretive sign produced by Bana Yarralji.
The sign was funded by a Wet Tropics Management Authority small grant.
Bana Yarralji is the land management organisation of the Kuku Nyungkal clan of Easter Kuku Yalanji with country around Shiptons Flat/ Rossville/Helenvale/Mungumby) and South Cape Catchments.
The sign welcomes visitors to the lands of Kuku Nyungkal in the World Heritage Area which are protected and managed by Bana Yarralji under their cultural lore.
