Tjapukai named as Cassowary Awards Gold Sponsor

Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park has thrown its support behind the 2017 Wet Tropics Management Authority's Cassowary Awards with its commitment as Gold Sponsor.

Tjapukai will host the gala ceremony on Saturday 25 November, where nominees and recipients across eight categories will be recognised for their contributions to the Wet Tropics World Heritage area.

Wet Tropics Management Authority acting executive director, Rebecca Lagerroth thanked Tjapukai for its commitment to the event.

“Sponsorship support is an important component in ensuring we are able to recognise community contributions to the World Heritage Area at the Cassowary Awards, and we’re thankful for Tjapukai’s commitment as Gold Sponsor,” she said.
