Workshops for Rainforest Aboriginal people

Between March and June 2016 the Wet Tropics Management Authority is conducting a series of capacity-building workshops for Rainforest Aboriginal people.

The workshops are intended to strengthen the skills and knowledge of Rainforest Aboriginal people, and to support their aspirations for participation and leadership, while benefitting collaborative management of the Wet Tropics World Heritage Area.

Workshops topics include techniques for mapping and recording cultural heritage, project planning and management, participatory engagement and how to create and share positive stories about Rainforest Aboriginal projects.

Keep an eye on our facebook page for upcoming workshop dates.
