About these maps

This page provides access to superseded zoning map sheets that have been replaced by updated zoning maps and are no longer current.

To find the current zoning use the latest Wet Tropics Plan Zoning Map.

When to use superseded maps

Superseded zoning maps are useful for:

  • historical reference
  • understanding past zoning arrangements
  • supporting research or compliance matters
  • clarifying zoning that applied at a specific point in time.

They should not be used to determine current zoning or land use requirements.

The singe digital spatial map series commenced in 2020 as the Wet Tropics Plan Zoning Map Edition 3.0. Before this, maps were kept as a paper map series.

There are also combined superseded zoning maps for northern (PDF, 3MB) and southern (PDF, 3MB) parts of the World Heritage Area.
