The Wet Tropics Sustainable Tourism Plan 2021─2031 sets a vision for protecting natural and cultural heritage while ensuring tourism delivers environmental, social, and economic benefits. It builds on earlier strategies with a fresh, inclusive approach to current tourism opportunities and challenges.
Developed by the Wet Tropics Management Authority, the Sustainable Tourism Plan was informed through a comprehensive consultative process with key partners and stakeholders. This collaboration identified shared priorities and actions to enhance visitor experiences and safeguard the unique values of the Wet Tropics World Heritage Area (the Area).
